Case Study Twenty six
In this hand painted and cherry Georgian Crabtree kitchen the large island is the main focus of the area. The island is both aesthetically pleasing and highly functional - it was designed for both food preparation and socialising alike. The clients required plenty of storage in the kitchen and so a large armoire was designed for dry food storage, two perforated steel curved vegetable drawers, an open decorative plate rack and bread drawers in the island among just some of the solutions. Tall storage for toys and a seating area were designed around the window into the playroom - maximising storage and also giving a seating area for the children.
