MVH Cookery Demonstration
November 2002 saw an event demonstrating classic fine cooking by renowned chef, Michael Von Hruschka (and his two assistants) of MVH Restaurant, Barnes. Guests were treated to a visually stunning and informative demonstration of canapés, spiced gravlax with dill blini, chicken in coconut milk followed by Pandan pudding and blueberries. Guests were able to taste all these dishes with petits fours, throughout the afternoon. Also on offer was a selection of wines presented by Andrew Hooper of Lea & Sandeman of Barnes. The event was free, but a collection was made for a local children's charity.
