MVH Cookery Demonstration
June 2003 saw our latest cookery demonstration by the renowned chef Michael Von Hruschka of MVH Restaurant, Barnes. Guests were treated to a demonstration of a meal cooked by the 'Slow Food Method' by Michael which included courgette flowers stuffed with seafood salad, roast poussin with lavender carrots & confit potatoes and summer berry semi-fredo with sun dried baby bananas in Kalamanci crème fraiche for dessert. Guests were invited to taste all the dishes along with a fine selection of complimentary wines presented by Andrew Hooper of Lea & Sandeman of Barnes. The event was free, but a collection was made for the Shooting Star Trust.
