MVH Cookery Demonstration
Another delicious cookery demonstration by local restaurateur Michael von Hruschka of MVH Restaurant held at Crabtree Kitchens Barnes showroom. Michael and his assistant chef cooked a selection of Vietnamese inspired dishes. Guests were first offered a sumptuous selection of canapés which included Vietnamese rice paper rolls and Murgh Chat, potato pancakes with crabmeat and sambal fish sauce and baked spring rolls in soy and honey. For the second course Michael demonstrated Goi Ngo Sen – a Spiced seafood salad with fragrant mint and Ga Nuong - grilled chicken with lime juice, lemongrass and morning glory. For dessert was a French/Vietnamese speciality - Chuoi Chien - Banana Flambe.
< Guests tasted all the dishes along with a selection of fine wines. A collection was made for The Shooting Star Trust.
