Brula Cookery and Wine Tasting
Critically acclaimed chef/owner Bruce and his head chef Jamie of local restaurants Brula & La Buvette treat Crabtree’s guests in their award winning Barnes showroom to the best in classic French cooking. This included a delicious selection of canapés, a salad of crab with fennel remoulade and chorizo and saffron dressing, roast rump of lamb with roast aubergine and red pepper and basil roulade, and finally a rich and creamy Crème Brulee. Guests were also treated to a talk on Italian wines by Xenia Irwin, a Master of Wine, invited by ParVinu Wines - a wine bar in St Margaret’s, Twickenham. Louise Chick of The Shooting Star Children's Hospice in Hampton gave a talk on the charity and a collection was made.
