What Happens Next
Considering a bespoke, handmade Crabtree kitchen?
What happens next?
Having visited our website or read our brochure, your next move is to visit our kitchen showroom in Barnes, London SW13 or in Bristol to see the real thing for yourself. The beauty of a bespoke, handmade kitchen is precisely that! Seeing the quality of the craftsmanship and discussing the styles and finishes of your design with us in our showroom will enable you to make your kitchen truly bespoke.
Kitchen Consultation
If you'd like to have a consultation with one of our kitchen designers, please make an appointment before you come so that we can dedicate sufficient time to you. You will need to bring a dimensioned kitchen plan or sketch and allow at least an hour for a full consultation. During the session, your designer will review your requirements, ideas and the budget for the kitchen. Finally, an appointment will be made for the initial design presentation. Please note that all out-of-showroom consultations will incur a charge of £150.
Kitchen Design & Presentation
Using their experience and design skills, the designer will interpret your ideas to produce an initial kitchen design. This proposal will be presented at a meeting in the form of a floor plan together with a quotation. Should you wish to proceed at this stage, payment of a £1,000 drawing fee will enable us to finalise the design and produce elevation drawings prior to payment of the full deposit.
Commission your kitchen
You may wish to commission the project at the initial presentation in which case, payment of a 25% deposit will enable us to reserve you a production slot. Once a project is commissioned your designer will work closely with you to finalise all the materials, finishes, handles and colours of your bespoke kitchen. Before your handmade kitchen is delivered
a detailed survey will be carried out and the services schedule and drawings issued. These will be required for initial installation of electrics, gas and plumbing prior to delivery of your kitchen.
Installing your kitchen
Your handmade kitchen will take approximately three weeks to install, including templating, fabrication and installation of the worktops. A further week is also needed to add the finishing touches to a painted kitchen. Once your kitchen has been installed we will arrange a visit to explain how to get the best out of your kitchen furniture and ensure years of enjoyment.
Future
Our support service is always available should you need us and we look forward proudly to welcoming you to the exclusive and growing family of delighted Crabtree kitchen owners.
